| Requirements: | Get ready to sew your way from beginner to advanced! ??? Here’s what you’ll need for class: SEWING MACHINE & BASICS Sewing machine in good working order Power cord & foot pedal Machine manual (if you have it) Basic sewing feet (standard + zipper foot recommended) New needle (size 80/12 or 90/14 suggested) CUTTING TOOLS Rotary cutter Sharp fabric scissors Cutting mat Acrylic ruler (6” x 24” recommended) GENERAL SUPPLIES Straight pins or clips (clips highly recommended for bags!) Seam ripper Fabric marking tool (chalk or washable pen) Measuring tape Small iron & pressing mat (optional but helpful) FABRIC & NOTIONS (Varies by project – details given per class) Exterior fabric ?? Lining fabric Coordinating thread Interfacing (woven, fusible fleece, etc.) Zippers (sizes will vary) Bag hardware (D-rings, sliders, magnetic snaps, etc.) Don’t worry—we’ll guide you on exactly what you need for each bag as we go!
